Welcome to Pesobit

UserPostedImage

Pesobit (PSB) has many advantages in store for all the applications you have in mind; one of these key points is that you can transfer money much faster than Bitcoin. Then, one very big advantage of PSB over other mainstream cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Litecoin or even Dogecoin is you can earn interest, just like at the bank, just for holding Pesobits through "staking".

Pesobit offers a faster and cheaper cryptocurrency alternative, which means that users will get the most out of their money; sending money worldwide will be much cheaper than with old economy companies such as banks or traditional financial services. The transfer fees are very low with Pesobit, and we are finding solutions to make sure that users can convert back to their own local currency easily, if this is what they want to do.

Pesobit has set its inflation rate to 5% per year, which means there is new money that is being created regularly, to accomodate the growth of the network, at a rate of 5% per year. You can earn some of these new coins by simply keeping your Pesobit in your wallet for a short period of time: it works like interest at the bank; however interest payments can be received daily, depending how many Pesobit currency you own in your wallet.

The objectives of Pesobit:

In just a few words, international remittances, freelancing and e-commerce, while at the same time allowing the usual altcoin trading negotiation in popular exchanges, to which the international community can participate fully.

Pesobit is geared towards maintaining a strong demand stemming from the many services available with it, its good trading volume and good longterm value because of its low inflation. This strong demand will gradually be created as the PSB services are coming online: we have posted and we strive to achieve an ambitious roadmap schedule, with services that will maintain a strong demand for Pesobit.

It's the 1st work day here in the Philippines due to the long weekend brought by the All Saint's day.  - Business paperworks between partnered companies resumed.  - We got a 3.5k retweets for our Shapeshift.io twitter push, hoping that they will heed the public's call and thanks to all those who retweeted. - The number of direct Buy orders from the Online Wallet now totaled to 0.95 BTC, which were also being used to buy the low sell orders to prevent sudden price decrease. - Total number of staking coins is now at 7.296 Million Pesobits. Pesobit Commemorative Coin hopefully will arrive within the next couple of weeks as there's a need for a minor revision to smoothen out rugged edges in the design. - And, I'll be on a scheduled Family vacation starting Friday and I'll be out-of-town until early next week but will check things out from time to time still.

The application for business merchant of coins.ph has been established.  This means we can now offer a service in the Online wallet that allows a user to convert their Pesobit to Philippine Peso cash out using coins.ph options. It will follow next business day crediting though just like coins.ph. I will check the withdrawal options, what banks can you send the funds to etc.  As for the transaction fee, it will be lesser than the BTC<->Peso conversion fee percentage of coins.ph It could be that there will be an option for funds to be sent directly to your coins.ph wallet as Philippine Peso so you can withdraw it on your own but there could also be an option for direct bank withdrawal at least for those whose coins.ph accounts are limited but we could put up some limits to conform with the KYC policies.

ETA: Soon as I still have to check all the options and functionalities that can be put in place.

However, this doesn't mean that our only mode of cashout is via coins.ph. Vmoney announced our partnership with them few days ago so it is also being handled. Direct bank connection is also being worked on.

Why have all these cash-out options? All of them have their own fees, advantages and policies. There will be some users who will prefer coins.ph due to their btc wallet connection and numerous cash-out options, some might prefer the direct bank connection as funds that are being converted are already withdrawable via the ATM and some might prefer VMoney solution due to their reloadable Debit Card, tap-to-pay solution for merchants etc.

Wallet withdrawal has been changed as well, all sending of Pesobit will be initially sent to Pending status. Then every 15 minutes, there's a scheduled task that will run to check all the Pending orders and mark them completed or invalid as there are some who happen to have a mistake in entering PSB address (entered BTC address instead) and others.

A QT5 version of Pesobit wallet has been created and you can get it from www.pesobit.net/downloads/Pesobit-QT5.rar.  The old Pesobit wallet will still work so installing this isn't a must but rather an optional one. This new wallet package is bigger in file size as it is dependent to some files and Visual C++ package so if it doesn't work well you might need to install this one (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555). No need to remove the old wallet as well just make sure that the old wallet application is close before you open this. It will also use the old wallet.dat file and Pesobit folder in the Roaming section but backing up the old files is still a very safe way to do this.

What's new? QT5 wallets are more dynamic and can add several features and the one that got released includes the block explorer within the wallet itself and has links to both C-Cex and Cryptopia exchange.

Other developments in the Desktop wallets will follow and will be announced once ready.

Thanks to all those who I met earlier for the first PSB meet up over at The Plantation Ortigas. Some came all the way from Pangasinan, Cavite, Bulacan, etc and the original plan of just a 2 hr discussion went way overboard Smiley Things that were discussed were basically all about the status of Pesobit Roadmap and the future of e-wallet.ph as a company, its potential and the call for decentralization or for other Pesobit holders to explore and provide usability for Pesobit. Remittance - it's a good thing that some are working in the background to create a remittance business out of Pesobit, it is a big help.

eCommerce - coinpayments.net simply makes it easier for one with an ecommerce website to accept Pesobit and just hours ago I was made aware and seen that USANA online store is now accepting Pesobit for their checkout option. More store will support Pesobit due to the coinpayments.net inclusion and the Marketplace for those who can't set up their own Online Store will also push through within the next few weeks. Tutorial on how to use coinpayments.net api to accept Pesobit in a store will also be created for people to be made aware of how easy it is.

Banks, VMoney and coins.ph inclusion is an ongoing process as discussed and we're making progress on our legalities as other people are also helping out especially by people who are already in these fields and further help will come for bigger matters.

By the way, we MIGHT have an Isuzu Alterra Christmas raffle in our online wallet soon Smiley

Again thanks for those who dropped by, listened and made me aware of their own plans in how they can help in creating a bigger community for Pesobit.

You will now receive a withdrawal confirmation email to your registered email address for every withdrawal transaction so if someone else stole your Online Wallet credentials they still won't be able to send out your Pesobits without your confirmation on your email. This is in line with the Online Wallet not allowing multiple sessions and times out if no activity has been made for the past hour.

For merchants who would like to accept Pesobit as payment for their products, please send me an email at pesobit@gmail.com for 2 products during the Beta run. Each product can have up to 3 pictures, Philippine Peso price including a set shipping fee amount and description. You may also want to put in your contact numbers/email for customer inquiries. Mode of payment will be in Pesobit using the coinpayments.net API. When checking out, you will be presented the Pesobit option as payment then you have 1 hour to pay to that address (payments can come from different addresses). If you ever you paid after the 1 hour period, you will receive an email from coinpayments.net for refund link.

Although this is only a suggestion, try this out! If you feel lucky, do not hesitate to join the party and have fun ....

Mayors Permit already arrived along with other regulatory papers like environmental, etc

You can now buy Prepaid credits from market.pesobit.net at a very cheap price only for Pesobit Philippine users.  More load products will be available within the next few days. We were able to get the loads at a very cheap price at the expense that it will be processed in batches every 6-8 hours.

Pesobit is also listed in Livecoin.net Voting https://www.livecoin.net/voting/index?vote=PESObit

Aside from the Online Wallet with Staking option, the latest addition to Pesobit is its Marketplace. The recent addition of Pesobit in coinpayments.net allowed Pesobit along with dozens of cryptocurrencies to be accepted by e-Commerce platforms with or without programming knowledge.

Pesobit Marketplace is a collection of 3rd party merchants or service providers. They exchange their service or products for Pesobit. They don't dictate the exchange rate of Pesobit <-> Peso, they just state the Philippine Peso price of the product or USD (if there will be) then coinpayments api takes care of converting it to Pesobit so it will ask for Pesobits instead of Philippine Peso. Take for example one of a 1000 Philippine Peso product, upon checkout coinpayments will ask for Pesobits equal to that 1000 Philippine Peso and have it fixed for an hour so you have an hour to transfer funds to the provided PSB address. In case you missed the alloted time, you will receive a refund email from coinpayments.net for you to be able to get your PSB back.

Here's a video courtesy of one of our supporters JOE AXM showing how to order in the Marketplace.

So what can I avail in the Pesobit Marketplace? There's a BPI or BDO encashment - This is if you want to exchange your Pesobits to cash and have it sent to your BPI or BDO Savings accounts. The vendors of this one has a 500k PSB being staked and locked in the Online Wallet to serve as collateral. You can buy Prepaid credits via Smart, Globe or Sun - You can either choose the Cash Cards (the one where you will receive a PIN for you to use) or the Direct E-Load. Garena Shells - For gamers out there, you will receive your PIN on your stated mobile number, Paymaya or GCash conversions - You can also exchange your Pesobits to Paymaya or GCash credits. Zalora Vouchers - Want to shop in Zalora.ph using your Pesobits, you can do so by buying 1 of the vouchers. Dashcams, slimming products, botox and many more.

And of course the GiftAway Vouchers. You can select from their dozens of merchants like Plains and Prints, Nike Stadium, New Balance, Watch Republic, Krispy Kreme, Max's Vikings and many many more including travel and tours services. Other products are lined up and will be added one at a time so the Pesobit Marketplace will just continue to grow and be better every week.

What's next for Pesobit? e-Wallet.ph remains on standby as we're waiting for just ONE more government paper and that's BIR (for taxation). Bank connections and other bigger partners rely also rely on it so what we can do while waiting for it is to look for other ways for you to use your Pesobit in our daily lives. ETA still remains to be December but may be pushed to early January especially due to the Christmas holidays.

A few 3rd party websites/programs also came up that uses Pesobit and there will be more to come. To those who are having investment programs, I hope they can have some kind of collateral by sending Pesobits to the Staking program so we can be sure that they won't run away with the funds ending up scamming Pesobit holders.

It was not hacked and yes we sent emails from pesobit.net domain as a way to update everyone of the upcoming projects that is working in the background. The mistake at first though was that email addresses were placed under To instead of BCC so sorry for that. We will be sending an email or 2 from time to time to update everyone as the number of users grow, so I was looking for a way to update everyone and give you details about Pesobit.

As for the price, BTC is going strong so most people are going to BTC lately especially these last few days and most altcoins are down for the past week. Let's see at what price will BTC stabilize then we will see steady price in PSB again. By the way, I announced in social media an upcoming 3rd party service providers who are also the ones who provide bank encashment in the market.pesobit.net and the services that they'll be offering for Pesobit are Games, Invest, Bills Payment and a few more but they made it clear that the Invest option is not an HYIP as I told them that I won't promote their service if they will offer a service which they won't be able to sustain in the long run. These people are traders, gamblers and investors as well so HYIP is not something that they themselves won't be able to maintain. Currently they do have a 500k Staking PSB as collateral to the services that they will offer. The Bills Payment though is only for the Philippines and they haven't decided yet what will be their fees in such services.

Hi Everyone,

Please ignore all the emails coming from no-reply@pesobit.net that are not being announced in our official Social Media Accounts in https://www.facebook.com/pesobitcrypto which is also being placed in https://twitter.com/pesobit.

Anyone can send an email and pretend to be no-reply@pesobit.net, you can even google "fake email sender" or anything synonymous.

Also, password reset emails will only be sent if you processed a password reset so as Pesobit withdrawals from the online wallet.

Remember, if you receive an email regarding promotions, investments or anything else check it with Pesobit official social media accounts.

https://www.facebook.com/pesobitcrypto  AND https://twitter.com/pesobit

As for where Pesobit is heading, dozens of apparels will be added in the marketplace within the next 2 weeks. Also it looks like the online wallet will add the feature to allow Filipino users to Buy prepaid credits directly from their accounts. It won't be instant though and it will be processed within 24 hours.

Regards, Benjamin

Today is the last day of 2016 and as we head on to 2017, I just want to remind you of what we have so far 15 weeks after Pesobit was launched.

Wallets:  Windows Wallet - https://github.com/pesob...master/pesobit-winqt.zip MAC Wallet - https://github.com/pesob...ob/master/Pesobit-Qt.dmg Linux - https://github.com/pesobitph/pesobit-source/ Mobile Wallet - https://play.google.com/...ls?id=com.coinomi.wallet Online Wallet - https://wallet.pesobit.net

Exchanges: Cryptopia - https://www.cryptopia.co.../Exchange?market=PSB_BTC C-Cex - https://c-cex.com/?p=psb-btc and a few more

ECommerce API - https://www.coinpayments.net/merchant-tools

Block Explorer - https://chainz.cryptoid.info/psb/

Marketplace - http://market.pesobit.net

And as we head on to 2017, Pesobit will just continue to grow as the Marketplace will continuously be filled up as hundreds of items are already lined up and will be added starting next week (once I'm back from vacation). See below screenshot for some of the items (all are apparels though).

Also, E-wallet.ph Services Inc processing will continue as soon as the holidays are over and will be processed for Corporate setup as well for partnership purposes. The screenshot below is for converting it from the old Sole Proprietary setup to a Corporate one.

Thanks to 2016 and let's welcome 2017. Enjoy the last few days of the holidays Smiley

PS: Reminder, please ignore those spammy emails pretending to be no-reply@pesobit.net

10 items were added to https://market.pesobit.net (and more to come).

Michael Kipsch group provided an update on their site. See screenshot below (the one with login, referral etc).

It seems we're going to have an Escrow and Crowdfund service in the Online Wallet with 0.5% charge but only accepts PSB and BTC but this is still in planning stage to smoothen the process.

Bank partner and VMoney are also waiting for the pending government paper so things can resume on their end. I'm also now tapping freelancing groups as we start developing a freelancing website running off Pesobit Smiley

Media exposure is expensive, I already checked them out. If only our ICO reached at least close to 70 BTC there were more funds to use for advertisements. Or if it reached 100 BTC as planned, I could probably try to take a long leave from work to focus more on Pesobit development. But it's fine, I've been working for Pesobit outside of my regular job for months now so I got used to it already and will continue to do so. :)

Fruitful meeting with gifted.ph. Will be adding their items in market.pesobit.net soon.

gifted.ph and giftaway.ph products are important especially for Overseas workers, at least with specific gift cards you know that what you gave to your families will be directed to the right purpose and not be spent on other things that they don't want you to know about.

Hi Everyone,

After successful testing of PoSP in our test network these past few days, we will now try to implement it to the live network so exchanges, block explorers were contacted to halt Pesobit operations.  PoSP also increases staking rewards because the non-staking wallets' staking power will be given to those that are staking and what are the non-staking wallet? Exchange, mobile and other online wallets. As for our testing and computation, it increases staking profit from the current 5% (which is based on low-inflation of 5%) to 15-20% while maintaining the same rate of inflation. The current staking in the online wallet will continue with its current rate for those whose coins are locked brought by the old staking, but those who will have new staking will see a new set of increased staking bonuses.

To those who are using desktop wallets, your staking rewards will now be based on how often you have your wallets but it will be higher. This model also increases the number of nodes further as it rewards the desktop wallet users if their wallets are synced to the network which results to more stable, bigger and more decentralized network.

How long will it be down? We'll try to implement the PoSP in the main node, let it sync and run as normal under PoSP. Then we'll do the same for the other linux and windows nodes to see if sync will work perfectly together with testing the staking rewards variation if some wallets are off. If you remember, we tried this prior to launching Pesobit but failed and said that I'll pursue PoSP still and now is the time before we go big. I can't give the exact time frame but a week of downtime for all the wallets might be possible.

I've been talking to potential investors of e-wallet.ph services for funding these past couple of weeks and was able to get some commitments together with more partnerships so there's no where to go for Pesobit but UP.
